Francesco Veronese: The challenge is to maintain the identity of Italian genetics
Francesco Veronese has been working for the Italian breeding company Intermizoo for 15 years, the last 9 of which he has served as a sire analyst. And the 40-year-old, who selects around 35 sires every year for the breeding program, has a pretty clear idea as to the philosophy with which to direct the Intermizoo breeding program. What is really fascinating is that this philosophy, as well as his views on the industry as a whole, has little to do with what one normally considers as mainstream.
