Conformation and PTAT: What are the Differences?

In general, a good bull is a good bull, no matter what country he is used in! That sounds like a perfectly reasonable statement, right, yet there are exceptions to this rule - bulls with impressive proofs in one country that don’t come even close to matching the expected results in another. Two bulls that are the centre of considerable comment at present are the Nr.1 and 2 TPI bulls of the US, Genosource Captain and Westcoast Lambeau. In particular it’s the difference between their PTAT in the US and Conformation scores in Canada that are attracting attention.
