When Boldi-V Gymnast, the Doorsopen son from the Albany branch of the Atlees, got his first genomic breeding values at the end of 2016, he presented himself at a good level on both LPI and TPI basis. However, it was not enough for a top position in Canada or the USA. But in Germany the situation was different. With 167 gRZG and outstanding conformation, he took over the top spot there in December 2016. And Germany’s breeders were the first to intensively use Gymnast on their best heifers and cows. Ever since the first Gymnast calves have arrived with their genomic numbers, the results have been overwhelming.
