Volkmann Holsteins Vogtland: Source of Five Iron Strong Generations and Vox Say-Red-PP
Beginning in August, the first daughters of Vox Say-Red-PP, the second most sold Red Holstein bull in Germany, will be coming into production. Say, launched by Masterrind/Synetics, comes from a unique cow family. Females from Say’s pedigree are exclusively being milked at Volkmann Holsteins Vogtland (Vox). HI travelled to the German state of Saxony for a meeting with Vox breeder Ralf Volkmann, a dairy farmer through and through with a love for problem-free Holsteins. Picture cow Vox Sina EX-94, the more than ten-year-old great-grandam of Say, is a powerful example.
