Tracking Holstein breeding in Slovenia
This report is about a country and a Holstein population that is waiting to be discovered. Slovenia is the green heart in the middle of Europe, bordering Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. It is known for its mountains, ski resorts and wonderful lakes where there is something for everybody. Good Holsteins and many good breeding operations can also be found in the small country with its own official language and a population of about 2.1 million inhabitants. As such, it is time to take a trip there and take a closer look at its Holstein population.
