At the 2016 US National Holstein Convention, Joe Loehr was honoured as the National Distinguished Young Breeder of the Year. Some months later he received the equivalent award from the Brown Swiss Association. To receive such acknowledgement at a national level from two different breed associations suggests Joe must be doing something right! This month we take you to Mt Calvary in Wisconsin where we visit Holyland Genetics, owned by Joe, Mark and Dan Loehr.
