GHH Marie EX-96 Model Cow at Kastens Holsteins: ‘Not extremely tall, but extremely correct.’
At six elite sales held in Germany during the past half year, a total of twelve animals were consigned by Kastens Holsteins. Originating from various splendid cow families. What started as a hobby has in the meantime become a serious enterprise for the enthusiastic breeders, who attach a lot of value to strong pedigrees, breeding power, and solid conformation. And, in the Kastens herd, breeding history has been written more than once. For example, the Shottle daughter Malmö has provided seven EX descendants on five different farms, and recently the thirteen-year-old Talent daughter GHH Marie became the first German Red Holstein to classify EX-96.
