Earl de Banos: Magnificent Ducasse Jaka Rightly Places the Limelights on a Unique Breeding Enterprise

Undoubtedly all those who attended the French “Centenary” – the splendid centennial show of the French herdbook organization – will be able to vividly recall: the thrilling victory march of the powerful Ducasse Jaka. The then nine-year-old Holstein (it was November 2023) was able to capture title after title at the unique show, with as the absolute highlight, recognition as the “French Cow of the Year”. Everyone enjoyed the quality of this Bradnick daughter, with her national victory being a well-deserved honour salute to her breeders, the Ducasse family with the Banos herd in the French southwest. A herd with a rich history, which we gladly bring into view here.
