Bovec began in February 1971: Initially as a consulting firm for larger dairy farms, and since 1974 also an importer and distributor of American Holstein semen in France - first for ABS, and later also for Alta and WWS. After 50 years, Bovec is still alive and well, given the various innovations being introduced. And the fact that the volume of imported semen during the past 20 years has grown by no less than 10% each year.
