Initially he was a bit of mysterious bull: Amighetti Numero Uno, who in the summer of 2011 seemed to fall like a thunderbolt out of a blue sky. It was the beginning of the genomic era, and the DNA index front buzzed with powerful American prefixes. But suddenly he appeared: a brand new DNA bull, from Italy’s Po Valley, with a prefix that many had never heard before: Amighetti.
