In 1941, 80 years ago, J. Rockefeller Prentice was involved in founding the Northern Illinois Holstein Artificial Breeding Association. Prentice started more AI companies. All were merged into the American Breeders Service in 1950. Frozen semen, nitrogen tanks, breeding value estimation, breeding programs, computer mating programs, famous bulls; ABS Global has shaped the AI landscape as an innovator under the inspiring leadership of founder Prentice and then Dr. Robert Walton, general manager from 1968 to 1992.
